MEET KELLEY

  Kelley Ainsworth Powell, MCD, CCC-A is a native of Baton Rouge and has strong ties to this community. After graduating from Parkview Bapitst, she completed her Bachelor’s degree at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA and Master’s degrees at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA.  Ms. Ainsworth Powell is a member of American Speech–Language–Hearing Association. She is licensed by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

After working as an Audiologist at Ochsner and The Hearing Center of Drs. Hansbrough, Peters, Traxler and Scallan for a total of 20+years, Ms. Ainsworth Powell will now be in private practice on Coursey Boulevard. She is taking over the practice of local Audiologist, Clarence Freeman is retiring after 40 years of service. Ms. Ainsworth Powell is excited about this new opportunity to reach more patient and help them to improve their quality of life through better hearing health care. 

She has two children. Her daughter, Kenzie is enrolled at St. Joseph’s Academy and participates in competitive cheer at Cheer Force. Kelley’s son, Tanner attends Parkview Baptist School and plays baseball. Family is very important to Kelley—her parents, Sandy and Ollie and her two brothers (Kevin and Kurt) and their families are active members in the community as well. Ms Ainsworth Powell looks forward to helping address their hearing and audiological needs for many years to come.
